Google is still king of the search engines by far, but don't forget, millions of people use Bing every day, you see the ads on T.V., they are a major player in S.E.O., which is why it's important to take a little time to tell Bing about your website!
1. Submit your URL to Bing - http://www.bing.com/docs/submit.aspx
2. Submit your XML Sitemap to Bing - http://www.bing.com/toolbox/posts/archive/2009/10/09/submit-a-sitemap-to-bing.aspx

For anyone that may not know - Google provides a great way to tell them about your website using Google Webmaster
Remember - content is KING! When making web pages, think keywords, keywords, and more keywords - Google, Bing, and all the other search engines will "spider" your pages looking for keywords.
Backlinks are also very important - get your website link anywhere you can, forums, message boards, blogs - it's best to place your link on related websites - the more links you get on other sites, the higher your page ranking will be, and the higher in the search engines you'll get!
